Over the last year, we have been working with Libraries Unlimited to increase our member’s confidence in accessing the local library and its range of services. This has been a great success with members attending library-based singing, colouring and walking groups and many members getting a library card for the first time!
In our Tuesday morning drama group and Tuesday afternoon dance group, we have been creatively exploring the idea of stories. Later this year, to celebrate this project, there will be a photographic exhibition in Barnstaple library sharing Many Directions members’ life stories, as they become authors of their own books… Watch this space…
